Care
Suede and EVA want opposite things. Do not mix them up.
Suede uppers
Brush dry with a soft suede brush, always in one direction. Never soak suede and never put it near a heater — it stiffens and will not come back. Lift a wet stain by blotting, letting it dry fully, then brushing the nap up again.
Cork-latex footbeds
Wipe with a barely damp cloth. If the cork rim dries pale, a thin coat of cork sealer once a year keeps it from cracking.
EVA pairs
Rinse under a tap, scrub with mild soap if they need it, and air-dry out of direct sun. They are fully waterproof — this is the pair for the rain.
Wear them in
The footbed moulds to your arch over the first week. Wear them a few hours a day at first; after that they are yours and no one else's.
